Embudu Village, with its sparkling blue waters and natural easy-going atmosphere is a paradise for anyone looking for a few weeks of pure escape from the world. Only 40 minutes by fast boat from the airport and the capital Male. Embudu presents its guests with a peaceful environment for total relaxation and recreation.
Our small island, about 45 minutes from Hulule, will give you everything you are looking for. Nice comfortable rooms, beautiful beaches, good restaurant, everything for a holiday you will never forget. After arriving one of our fast boats (a “Noor”) will be waiting for you in the harbor, and there is the your first surprise; the sea is really blue, just like you saw in the brochure!
Once on board of one of the “Noors” sit down and relax. Leaving the harbor and on the way to Embudu you will see Male, the capital, with the gold plated roof of the mosque. And if, you are lucky, dolphins will accompany you on the way to Embudu. The first island you see isn’t Embudu Village but Taj Exotica. The Noor will pass Taj Exotica and you will have Embudu Village in full few within seconds. When you set foot on the jetty you will be accompanied to the reception, don’t worry about your luggage, the crew will bring it to the reception. Once you know you your room number they will carry it to your room. At the reception one of the waitresses welcomes you with warm cloth to freshen up. And after filling in the forms, walk to your room, unpack and start enjoying your stay on Embudu Village.

Located at the north drop-off of the south male atoll close to the outside reef our tropic paradise island is famous for its tremendous variety of marine life and all the colourful corals at the housereef.Due to this central location the best dive sites of the north as well as the south male atoll are very close.
Maledives. most beautiful dive sites are visited by Diverland Embudu – 35 different divespots with boattrips of 1 hour maximum.
Once you found the base, the fun part of your vacation can begin. For those who did not bring a snorkel or vins, don.t worry, at Diverland Embudu you can rent them.
Diverland Embudu is also the right place for people who want to experience their first underwater experiences. Please join the resort course. In this course you will get acquainted with the basics of scuba diving. When you like it and I am sure you will, then the best is yet to come. Attend the Open Water Course. In about six days you will learn everything to have to know to become a .real. scuba diver.
After that you can make some great boat dives to all the beautiful spots Diverland Embudu offers.
After signing in, divers can chose between non-limit diving or packages of 10 dives. Remember to bring your health certificate and your logbook. As the current can be rather tough, Diverland Embudu requires at least 30 logged dives before you are allowed to go non-limit.
And believe me, that is a rule you should stick too. Even diving the house reef we came into very strong currents and we were very glad we knew what to do and even more we knew what not to do.
Besides Open Water Course Diverland Embudu offers more courses. The Advanced Open Water is one of them and one I enjoyed very much was the Nitrox Course.
