Huraa is a small island lying in the North Male’ atoll just a hour and a half boat ride from the capital. It is where we are located and where you would be spending most of your time if you chose to stay at our guest house. Huraa is surrounded by many tourist resorts on both sides of the island. The nearest one is Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa which is just across the lagoon on the south-west side of the island. Due to this proximity, every week tourists from these resorts make scheduled trips to Huraa to see the local island life.
Huraa is famous for its mangrove swamp locally known as Huraa Kulhi . This is an amazing place filled with nature’s wonders and you will be able to take a tour there during your stay with us.

Hop on our luxury speedboat and be transported to the world’s smallest capital city, Male. It’s small in size, but it’s the heart of the nation, has not lost its exotic charm and relaxed atmosphere. Male buzzes with activity on the streets, in shops and in the markets.
Visit the Museum with its wide range of historic relics and the 400-year-old mosque and the “Hukuru Miskiiy” with some of the finest coral carvings give you an insight into the country’s unique history. During your Escape and Experience, you will discover the eclectic historical background and abundant culture of Maldives by visiting the Islamic Centre, the Munnaaru (Minaret), the shrine of Abul Barakath Yousuf Al-Barbari, the former presidential palace, Sultan Park, the National Museum and the tomb of Mohamed Thakurufaanu. Our guide will also take you to the local fruit and vegetable market where sumptuous samples of Maldivian treats await to tantalize your taste buds.
